Simona has really gone to work on family and friends this month, telling them how her school are working hard at collecting batteries to recycle rather than them going in the general rubbish. She has got them all on board supporting Lightmoor School in the big battery hunt competition.
Work colleagues of her dad have sprung into action and managed to fill 3 buckets for Simona to add to the count, which means she has accumulated 1048 batteries to add to the count. Her classmates were so inspired by her collecting efforts that they are also actively encouraging their friends and family to jump on board - well done Simona, you really are a battery recycling champion!
