Thank you for your PowerPoint you sent to our school, which was watched by everyone during our school assembly. I liked the interesting facts on what batteries are made off and how they work, as well as how recycling our used batteries can make a difference. I felt sad about the millions of batteries being dumped into our landfills and the length of time it takes for the batteries to decompose, and how bad it is for our environment, but also its great news that batteries can be recycled and made into something new. Knowing this has inspired me to be part of your Big Battery Hunt, thanks to my family and my neighbours who helped me, I was able to collect a total 2,022 batteries to give to my school to recycle.
