Oliver in Year 9 at Co op Academy Bebington has reached out across the local Wirral community to gather THOUSANDS of batteries. He has contacted Arrowe Park Hospital and Clatterbridge Hospital to ask for help in gathering used batteries.
Mrs Hopkins, eco coordinator for the school says 'Oliver has gone above and beyond to collecting batteries'. Since September Oliver has been coming to see me every week with at least 1 very large bag of batteries to add to our Big Battery Count. He has promoted this across 2 hospital sites and we have bags of batteries the eco club now need to count! What a champion he is and a true battery pioneer.
