Primary one pupil, Fionn, has been very committed to collecting and recycling batteries. In just over a month, he has blown us away by collecting thousands of batteries! Fionn is not only raising awareness about the importance of correctly recycling batteries in school, but also in the wider community. Fionn has enlisted the help of his mum and they have turned their business into a recycling point for our school so that anyone can drop batteries in, even at the weekends. With the help of Fionn, we have managed to spread the word to everyone in our area, and get everyone talking about this important issue.
